Puppy Training

Puppy training can be attended as soon as the second injection has been given, up to six months.
Here your puppy will be socialised and learns the first commands in a very playful way.
A lot of breaks in between ensure that your puppy is not overchallenged and enjoys the training.
Please bring your vetcard, a harness or collar, a leash, some treats and a toy.
Do not wait!
Every day that goes by is an opportunity of a lifetime that is lost forever. You can never get these days back! If socialisation does not happen now, it never will.

Obedience

Obedience training is for dogs from six months of age. Ideally they have attended puppy class beforehand but it is not a mandatory requirement.
In Obedience, your dog will learn the basic commands like sit, down, heel, stay and come. This training is very efficient to create a strong bond between dog and handler.
No off-leash playing allowed.
Please bring your vetcard, a choke chain/halfchoke collar, a leash, treats (in a treatbag) and anything like a dumbbell that can be used to train the retrieve.

Agility

Agility is a dog sport in which a handler directs a dog through an obstacle course in a race for both time and accuracy. Foundation towards agility can be started at a young age, but proper training with obstacles should only start between 10 - 15 months depending on size of your dog. Your trainer will be able to help make the correct decision in this regard.

A strong bond between handler and dog is crucial as the dogs run without leashes and have to concentrate on their handler's body language for directions - basic obedience training will be of great help here.
Regular training will enhance the handler-dog-team and increase the fun together with the skills.
Please bring your vetcard, collar and leash (easy to detach - a retriever leash is recommendable), treats (optional) and, most important, a toy.
Please note that especially for heavy breeds it is advised to have hips and elbows checked if you want them to take higher jumps.
